What types of groups can book a field trip or group event?
We welcome all kinds of groups! Carolina Ninja Academy hosts school field trips, summer camps, daycare and childcare programs, homeschool groups, church and youth groups, parks and recreation programs, sports teams, community organizations, corporate groups, and more. If you're looking for a fun and active group experience, we'd love to help plan your visit.
What happens during a field trip or group event?
Every group is a little different, so we can help customize the experience based on your group's age, size, and goals. A typical visit may include a safety introduction, warm-up, coach-led ninja obstacle stations, games and challenges, and open gym time where participants can explore and revisit their favorite obstacles.
How long are field trips and group events?
Most field trips and group events are approximately two hours. The exact schedule and activities can vary depending on your group size and the type of experience you're looking for.
What ages can participate?
Our field trips and group events can accommodate a wide range of ages. Activities and obstacles can be adjusted based on the age and ability level of your participants. Tell us a little about your group when you inquire, and we'll help determine the best experience for them.
Is Carolina Ninja Academy indoors?
Yes! Carolina Ninja Academy is a 12,000-square-foot indoor ninja warrior facility in Huntersville, NC. Because the experience takes place indoors, field trips and group events aren't dependent on rain, summer heat, cold temperatures, or other unpredictable weather.
How much does a field trip or group event cost?
Pricing can vary depending on the size of your group, length of the event, and the type of experience you're planning. Submit our group event inquiry form with your estimated number of participants, preferred date, and information about your group, and we'll provide additional pricing and availability information.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially if you're planning a school field trip during the spring or a summer camp field trip during the summer. Popular weekdays and times can fill up quickly. If you have a specific date in mind, contact us and we'll let you know what's available.
Do participants need previous ninja experience?
Not at all! No previous ninja or obstacle course experience is necessary. Our coaches introduce participants to the obstacles, provide instruction, and help them find challenges appropriate for their ability level. Experienced ninjas will also find plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves.
How many participants can you accommodate?
We can host groups of many different sizes, from 100+ to small groups of 15. Group size can affect how we structure your visit, including the number of obstacle stations, coaches, and activities. Contact us with your estimated number of participants, and we'll help determine the best setup for your group.
Are field trips and group events coach-led?
Yes! Our coaches can lead participants through obstacle stations, games, challenges, and other activities throughout the visit. We can also incorporate open gym time so participants have an opportunity to explore the facility and revisit their favorite obstacles.
Do you offer school field trips?
Yes! Carolina Ninja Academy hosts school field trips throughout the school year. Our field trips give students an opportunity to get moving, challenge themselves, build confidence, encourage their classmates, and have fun outside of the classroom. They're a great option for elementary and middle schools, PE programs, student reward trips, end-of-year celebrations, and other school outings.
Do you host summer camp field trips?
Yes! We welcome summer camps and other youth programs throughout the summer. Our indoor ninja facility gives campers a chance to climb, swing, balance, play games, and take on exciting obstacles in a coach-led environment. It's also a great indoor option when summer heat or unpredictable weather makes outdoor field trips difficult.
Do you offer corporate or adult group events?
Yes. Carolina Ninja Academy can host corporate outings, team-building activities, and other adult groups looking for something more active and unique than a traditional group event. Contact us to discuss your group and the type of experience you're looking to create.
What should participants wear?
Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows them to move easily. Athletic shoes are recommended for participating on the ninja obstacles. We also recommend bringing a water bottle, especially for larger or more active group events.
